In the second half of 2022, Pacific Hotel Cairns is taking paradise to the next level with an array of terrific upgrades!

These upgrades have been carefully designed and planned to make our guests journeys to paradise even more enjoyable and comfortable. Here at Pacific Hotel Cairns we pride ourselves on creating the most pleasant offering for our valued guests, which is why we are constantly designing, planning and upgrading features throughout the hotel with our guests needs in mind. With upgrades covering everything from re-painting our rooms through to new Smart TVs and 'Pacific Comfort' beds, here's what to look forward to in the coming months:

Pacific Comfort

With so much to see and do in Tropical North Queensland, we know how important a good nights sleep is in Cairns. For this reason, we're rolling out brand new 'Pacific Comfort' mattresses for all of our rooms! These Aussie made mattresses, designed and produced by Sealy, will have our guests resting easy with three comfort layers and a quilt covering packed with high quality textiles and features.

The performance based comfort system starts with three distinct comfort layers: Deep SuperSoft Foam, Deep Premium Foam and Durabond Padding. On top of this, the covering is designed with, sanitised Damask, gentle continuous quilting, Sealy fibre and cushioning foam. The mattresses are built with a solid and reliable foundation with an inbuilt posture support system to provide extra comfort for our guests.

New TVs and telephones

We're installing brand new Smart TVs in every room to help you unwind at the end of a busy day exploring Tropical North Queensland! Along with this, on the way, are some fresh new telephones that would make E.T. proud.

After a long day out in beautiful Queensland, come home and unwind on our beautiful new mattresses, watch some Aussie cable on our brand new Smart TVs and dial down for some delicious room service free of charge!

More upgrades for our guests

Every room in the hotel is getting a fresh coat of paint (plus the outside of the building), new curtains and new carpets. We pride ourselves on providing our guests with modern and immaculate accommodation, which begins with more scheduled upgrades like re-painting and replacing carpets/curtains.

On top of all this, rooms from level 4 - 11 will be getting brand new furniture to help create a comfortable and unforgettable trip to Cairns.

Brand new rooms

You're going to want to keep your eyes peeled for these ones! We have a selection of brand new rooms making their way to the 10th and 11th floors of Pacific Suites Cairns in the coming year! These rooms will make you feel like you're living in paradise with natural lighting and beautiful new coastal art pieces and furniture by none other than The Designer Boys. Enjoy the best views of paradise from the comfort of modern, chic accommodation, styled by Janineous Design. These rooms currently aren't available to book, but keep an eye out as they'll go quick!

 

Please be advised that the top floor of Pacific Hotel Cairns is currently being upgraded as part of our Guest Enhancement Program. It is our intention to have minimal disruption to guests currently staying with us and work should only take place between 9am – 4pm. The upgrades are expected to be completed in the second half of 2022.
